Instagram Trial Reels: Camera Bag

Concept for each trial reel
It's difficult to transport a built-out camera to set.
Show the bad ways of transporting a camera, then show the Dr. Bag.
Each trial reel will have a different hook. Main video is the same, or cut down to make the video as short as possible while still being helpful.

Seat belt trick is not great. Big peli’s are heavy. Dr bags are the move.
This is the Sachtler dr bag 3. After going through multiple bags, this is my go-to bag to transport my Sony FX6 with a lens, monitor, v-mount plate and wireless transmitter.

For transporting rigged out cameras, doctor bags are the move. After testing a lot of different bags, I landed on the Sachtler Dr. Bag 3.

Hook
Show camera falling off of a backpack, then show putting camera into dr bag for safer transport.
Riser sound effect, then silence
Long form + Short form
Shot the long form and short form videos at the same time. The long form is made to be a less attention-grabbing, and more informative.
Conclusion
Everyone has transported their camera like this, and people complain about transporting cameras all the time. Most people just seatbelt their camera into the passengers seat, which is not great, but people do it.
What I thought would happen
I thought version 1 would be the best, since it quickly shows the different ways of transporting a camera to set. But it performed the worst by far.
What actually happened
The main content was the same, or slightly cut down to move the video along faster. The only thing that changed was the hook for each video. Using a visual hook (the camera falling over), the sound effects (the riser, to silence in version 3), and then showing how it should be done (using the Dr bag) was the best result.
Reel 3 had the lowest skip rate, and the highest share rates. The IG algorithm kept sending it to more people, who watched longer and shared more. Reel 3 was posted on May 10th, 2026 and is still getting more likes, shares and followers everyday as of July.
